These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of dehumidifierfixlab.com (the “Site”), operated by Umar Farooq (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using the Site you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. What this Site is
Dehumidifier Fix Lab publishes general informational and educational content about dehumidifier troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and selection. It is not professional advice. Using the Site does not create a technician-client, contractor, engineering, or other professional relationship between you and us. Your use of any information here is subject to our Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Permitted use
You may read, print, and share our content for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original page.
4. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Copy, republish, mirror, translate, scrape, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site’s content without our prior written permission
- Use the Site’s content to train, fine-tune, or benchmark machine learning models without our prior written permission

5. Intellectual property
All original content on the Site — text, guides, diagrams, graphics, the Dehumidifier Fix Lab name, and the Dehumidifier Fix Lab logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
Third-party brand names, model names, and trademarks appearing on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and descriptive purposes. Their appearance does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

Submissions must not be unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading, or promotional. We are not responsible for the accuracy of reader-submitted material, and publishing it is not an endorsement of it.
7. Advertising and affiliate relationships

The Site and all of its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the information published is accurate for your specific appliance, model year, or region. Your appliance’s own manual and the manufacturer’s service documentation always take precedence over anything published here.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dehumidifier Fix Lab, Umar Farooq, and any contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, nor for any personal injury, death, property damage, appliance damage, voided warranty, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or reliance on its content — whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damage.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims shall not exceed USD 100 or the amount you paid to access the Site (which is zero), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dehumidifier Fix Lab and Umar Farooq from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
12. Availability and changes to the Site
We may modify, suspend, relocate, or discontinue any part of the Site — including individual pages and guides — at any time and without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for doing so.
13. Termination
We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Site owner resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and the courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that consumers retain any mandatory rights and protections available to them under the law of their own country of residence.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Affiliate Disclosure, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

We may revise these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version, and continued use of the Site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms.
