What to get in touch about
- Corrections and factual errors. If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or unsafe, tell us. Include the page link and what you believe is incorrect — we investigate every report and correct verified errors promptly. See our Editorial Policy for how corrections are handled.
- Guide requests. Have a fault, error code, or model that isn’t covered? Send the brand, model number, and a description of what the unit is doing. Requests genuinely shape what gets written next.
- Reader fixes. If you diagnosed something the hard way, we’d like to know — reader reports are one of the best sources of real-world failure patterns.
- Advertising and partnerships. Enquiries about sponsorship or advertising are welcome, but please read our Editorial Policy first: we do not sell links, reviews, guest posts, or editorial influence of any kind.
- Copyright and content concerns. If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, contact us with the specific URL and details and we will respond promptly.
- Privacy requests. To access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, email us with the subject line “Privacy Request.” See our Privacy Policy.
What we can’t do
We want to set honest expectations, because a wrong answer about an appliance carrying mains voltage is worse than no answer:
- We can’t diagnose your unit remotely. We’re happy to point you to the right guide or explain what a symptom usually indicates, but a real diagnosis needs the appliance in front of a technician. Please don’t rely on an email exchange in place of a qualified inspection.
- We can’t authorise or supervise a repair. Nothing we send you is a professional service relationship, and any work you do is at your own risk. Please read the Disclaimer.
- We can’t handle warranty, returns, or refunds. We don’t sell, distribute, service, or represent any dehumidifier brand. For warranty claims, contact the manufacturer or the retailer you bought from.
- We can’t help with emergencies. If you smell burning, see smoke, notice scorched wiring or a tripping breaker, unplug the unit at the wall and contact a qualified electrician or appliance technician. Do not wait for an email reply.
Getting a useful answer faster
If you’re writing about a specific fault, including these details lets us point you to the right place first time:
- Brand and full model number (usually on a sticker at the back or side of the unit)
- Roughly how old the unit is
- What it’s doing — and what it should be doing instead
- Any error code shown on the display
- Room size, approximate temperature, and humidity level if you know it
- Anything you’ve already tried
Thanks for reading Dehumidifier Fix Lab — and for helping make it more accurate.
